Emmerson Overell

Emmerson “Emma” Overell is a project coordinator at the Center on Cyber & Technology Innovation (CCTI) at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), where she contributes to the work of the Transformative Cyber Innovation Lab (TCIL) and to projects related to nation-state cyber threats and influence operations. Emmerson competed in D1 NCAA cross country and track on behalf of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and Middle Eastern studies. She also holds an M.A. in security policy studies with a concentration in U.S. national security from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University.
