Hezbollah abhors the liberal international order, which it believes is an inherently immoral and cruel façade for American hegemony. It distrusts international tribunals for the same reasons.

Accordingly, Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah recently tore into international law as “the law of the jungle,” and described the International Court of Justice (ICJ) as biased and controlled by “the American administration, the West, Europe, and all the other protectors of this barbaric, Nazi, racist Entity [i.e. Israel].”
