IDF Continues Strikes in Lebanon to Prevent Hezbollah From Regrouping

Hezbollah Terror Site Targeted: The IDF carried out airstrikes against a Hezbollah “fire and defense array” near the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon on June 27. According to a statement, “In recent days, the IDF identified attempts by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to restore the site,” which had previously been struck by the IDF. The site was part of a “significant underground project,” with simultaneous strikes targeting several Hezbollah arms depots near the city of Nabatiyeh, according to Lebanese security sources.
IDF Says Hezbollah Missile Hit Residential Building: Lebanese reports claimed a residential building in the nearby town of Nabatiyeh El Fouqa had been targeted by Israeli fighter jets. The IDF denied the reports, countering that a secondary explosion from a Hezbollah rocket had damaged the building following the airstrikes on Beaufort Ridge.
Hezbollah Observation Point Destroyed: The IDF stated on June 26 that it had demolished a building in the Lebanese town of Houla that was reportedly used by Hezbollah to “gather intelligence” on IDF operations in the area. The structure had previously served as the home of Hezbollah terrorist Ahmed Ghazi Ali, who was eliminated on June 19 by an Israeli airstrike. Additionally, on June 26, the IDF targeted and eliminated a commander in Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit in the Baraachit area and an additional terrorist belonging to Hezbollah’s observation array in the area of Beit Lif.
