Israel Calls for Investigation After Video Captures Terrorists Inside UNRWA Aid Distribution Point: On Tuesday, COGAT, the Israeli entity coordinating humanitarian aid for Gaza, published footage showing “terrorists next to UN Vehicles at the UNRWA Logistics Compound in Eastern Rafah.” According to COGAT’s statement, the compound is “a central point” for UNRWA’s Gaza aid distribution. The statement explained that the video shows terrorists “alongside UN vehicles” and “shooting civilians right outside.” In addition, “terrorists are seen armed inside the compound.” COGAT added that after “terrorists were seen armed inside an UNRWA logistics compound in eastern Rafah, we conveyed the findings to senior officials in the international community and called on the @UN to conduct an urgent investigation into the matter.” IDF International Spokesman Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani noted that “the presence of weapons and gunmen at a humanitarian compound represents a clear violation of @UNRWA’s own charter and policy,” adding: “This video of terrorists on a U.N. compound should raise serious questions: What are terrorists doing inside a U.N compound? Why are they shooting at civilians? And what exactly is @UNRWA’s involvement?”

IDF Spokesman Hagari: Army Operating in Gaza’s North, Center, and South, Including ‘Targeted’ Rafah Operation: At a Tuesday press briefing, IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari gave an update on operations in Gaza. Noting that the IDF has three divisions operating there — one in the north, one in the center, and one in the south — Hagari stated that on Memorial Day and Independence Day, the IDF killed about 100 terrorists in Gaza and added that since the Rafah operation began, it has eliminated some 100 terrorists, located many weapons and about 10 tunnels, and destroyed launchers. In central Gaza, forces led by the IDF’s 99th Division have been operating in the Zeitun area, killing some 150 terrorists and destroying about 80 buildings used for terrorist purposes. In southern Gaza, 162nd Division forces are conducting a “targeted operation” in eastern Rafah against “Hamas focal points” and “terrorist targets.” Hagari added that earlier on Tuesday, the IDF, working with the Shin Bet, “precisely” attacked a “Hamas war room” in an UNRWA school, killing about 15 terrorists, some involved in planning and executing the October 7 attacks. Troops from the 98th Division are operating in the Jabalya area in northern Gaza and have killed about 80 terrorists and destroyed rocket launchers and weapons-production workshops.

98th Division Begins Operating in Jabalya, Nahal Brigade Troops Finish Operating in Zeitun: The IDF on Wednesday announced that as part of its intensification of operations in the area of the Jabalya Refugee Camp, troops from the 98th Division began operating overnight “in the heart” of the camp, where soldiers from the 7th and 460th armored brigades, along with paratroopers, fought intense battles against dozens of armed squads, killing a large number of terrorists. In one attack, Israeli Air Force aircraft eliminated the terrorist squad that fired toward Sderot yesterday. In the southern Gaza Strip, troops from the 162nd Division are continuing their operation in eastern Rafah to clear the area of terrorists and terrorist infrastructures. In the past few days, the Givati Brigade launched a targeted raid on a Hamas training camp, killing terrorists in close encounters and finding a compound with simulated IDF equipment and weapons. The IDF added that Nahal Brigade troops concluded their operation in the Zeitun area this morning and are preparing for other operations, while the 2nd “Carmeli” Infantry Brigade is continuing to fight in Zeitun.

Israeli Civilian Killed by Hezbollah Missile, IDF Eliminates Senior Hezbollah Commander: On Tuesday, an Israeli civilian was killed when a Hezbollah anti-tank missile struck Kibbutz Adamit in western Galilee. Five soldiers were injured earlier in the day from missiles fired at the kibbutz. Later, IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah military buildings in the Ayta Al-Shab and Kafr Kila areas in southern Lebanon. Since the war began, 24 Israelis have been killed by Hezbollah fire, six in the past month. Hezbollah has been stepping up the pace of attacks, and the attacks have become deadlier. Last night, an IDF drone strike in the area of Tyre in southern Lebanon eliminated Hussein Ibrahim Makki, a senior field commander in Hezbollah’s Southern Front unit. The IDF said Makki was “responsible for planning and executing many terrorist attacks against the Israeli home front.” Hezbollah officially announced his death, the 298th it has announced since the war began. On Wednesday morning, the Alma Research and Education Center said that Hezbollah fired some 80 Grad rockets at Mount Meron in the upper Galilee, home to an air traffic control base, and also fired Burkan rockets at the upper Galilee. Alma’s post includes photos of the attack, along with a video.
