Zane Zovak is a research analyst with FDD’s China Program and Center on Military and Political Power, where he focuses on the diplomatic and military actions of the People’s Republic of China and how the United States and its allies and partners should respond. Prior to joining FDD, Zane graduated from Baylor University with a degree in international studies and minors in Chinese and political science. He has since participated in fellowships with the John Jay Institute and Hertog Foundation and has interned with AEI, the Wilson Center, and IRI, where he worked on various foreign policy and national security projects. He recently completed his master’s in management science at Tsinghua University, where he was a Schwarzman scholar.
