Ryan Brobst is a research analyst at FDD’s Center on Military and Political Power. His research focuses on Middle East security, including arms sales and weapons development as well as regional military operations and exercises. Prior to joining FDD, Ryan served as a policy analyst at the Hoover Institution and as a graduate research assistant at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation. He earned an MA in international policy from Stanford University. He also completed BAs in international relations and Middle East/South Asia studies and minors in European history and East Asian studies from University of California, Davis.
