Major Lauren A. Harrison is a visiting military analyst at FDD’s Center on Military and Political Power and an active duty U.S. Air Force E-3 pilot who has served in instructor pilot and staff roles.

Lauren most recently served as Chief of Inspections and Innovations where she managed squadron regulation compliance and process improvement initiatives, while instructing pilots in the E-3 Flying Training Unit. She has also served as a staff officer in the NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Force Headquarters where she worked with an international team to execute NATO’s airborne command and control requirements in support of Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) objectives. Lauren has served three tours in the Middle East, garnering more than 1,200 combat flying hours.

Lauren earned a M.A. in Christian Apologetics from Liberty University and a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Arabic from the United States Air Force Academy.
