Lilia Gaufberg serves as the Senior Manager of Events and Marketing at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. She has a diverse background as a writer, copy and video editor, educator, and visual artist. Her published works, primarily featured in The Times of Israel, have centered around topics such as the rise in antisemitism on American college campuses, UNRWA’s systematic indoctrination of children in Gaza, and Soviet-Jewish identity. Lilia recently returned to the United States after living in Israel for 7 years, during which time she served in the Israel Defense Forces’ Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) unit and worked as a Digital Research Analyst for StandWithUs. She holds a Master of Arts in Government with a specialization in Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution from Israel’s Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya) as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clark University.
