Biography

Jamil Jaffer is the founder of the National Security Institute at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, where he also serves as a Adjunct Professor of Law and Director of the National Security Law & Policy Program. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution and previously served in a variety of federal government and private sector roles, including as the Chief Counsel and Senior Advisor for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and in the White House as an Associate Counsel to President George W. Bush.
