Biography

Frank J. Cilluffo serves on the board of advisors for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ (FDD’s) Center for Cyber and Technology Innovation (CCTI).

Frank is the director of the McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security at Auburn University and host of the weekly Cyber Focus podcast. Prior to joining Auburn, he founded and directed the Center for Cyber and Homeland Security at George Washington University where he led a number of national security and cybersecurity policy and research initiatives. Frank was a member of the Cyberspace Solarium Commission and served on the Department of Homeland Security’s Advisory Council where he chaired various initiatives on counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and economic security. Frank currently serves as a trustee for the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering and is chairman of the advisory board of Cyber Florida. Frank previously served as special assistant to the president for Homeland Security.
