Daniel Ackerman

Senior Designer

Biography

Daniel Ackerman is senior designer at FDD and is responsible for the production of original concepts in print and digital design for FDD’s brand. This includes conference materials, reports, logos, web design, videos, animations, infographics, photography and other brand collateral materials that advance FDD’s institutional and strategic objectives. Daniel assists with front and back end management of FDD’s website and email marketing campaigns. He works closely with the communications department, and with the events and marketing teams.

Prior to joining FDD, Daniel worked as a project manager and visual designer for Sagetopia design firm. He has also run his own award-winning design practice, Daniel Ackerman Design. He also served as advertising and graphic design intern for The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and prior to that, senior graphic designer for Florida State University’s Oglesby Union Marketing and Communications Office.

Daniel is a Brooklyn native and received his BFA in graphic design from Florida State University where he also served as the editorial illustrator for the University newspaper.
