Connor Pfeiffer

Connor Pfeiffer is executive director of the Forum for American Leadership, a nonprofit that convenes conservative national security leaders to develop policies that advance America’s role as an active global leader. He has advised Republican presidential campaigns and candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives on national security policy. Connor previously served as national security advisor to U.S. Representative Will Hurd (R-TX), for whom he was an associate staffer for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and Committee on Appropriations. Other past positions include policy director for the American Opportunity Alliance and communications director for one of Hurd’s re-election campaigns. Connor graduated magna cum laude in history from Princeton University and is a sixth-generation Texan born and raised in San Antonio. His writing on U.S. foreign policy has been published in The Wall Street JournalNewsweek, RealClearPolitics, and other publications.
