Cara Cancelmo is a program analyst at FDD’s Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation, where she contributes to the CSC 2.0 project and researches various topics, including cyber policy, cyber deterrence, emerging technologies, and the security implications of cyberattacks on U.S. critical infrastructure. Prior to joining FDD, Cara earned an M.A. in global policy studies from The University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs, where she received a portfolio in security studies and a fellowship in cybersecurity. She also holds a B.A. in international relations from Claremont McKenna College.
