Alexander St. Leger

Biography
Alexander St. Leger is a research analyst with FDD’s Center on Economic and Financial Power. Prior to joining FDD, Alexander worked as a Russia analyst at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS), where he studied issues ranging from Russian sanctions evasion to the arms trade. He also previously worked as part of the U.S. Fulbright Program in Moldova, as a consultant at PLUS Communications, and as an aide in the Ohio House of Representatives. Alexander is a U.S.-Russia Strategic Competition Fellow under the Alexander Hamilton Society’s Security and Strategy Seminar and has published commentary for the Atlantic Council, Balkan Insight, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Alexander received his B.A. in international studies from The Ohio State University. He speaks Russian and Spanish.
