FDD NAMES EYAL HULATA FIRST SENIOR FELLOW OF NEW INTERNATIONAL FELLOWS PROGRAM

WASHINGTON, DC, June 22, 2023 — The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) has named Dr. Eyal Hulata, Israel’s former National Security Advisor and Head of the National Security Council, as the first senior fellow in its new International Fellows Program. FDD is a nonpartisan research institute focusing on national security and foreign policy.

“Dr. Hulata will bring his invaluable experience and insights to strengthen FDD’s ongoing efforts to safeguard national security in the face of emerging threats,” said FDD CEO Mark Dubowitz. “Eyal’s research will focus on Iran, Middle East security, and the ongoing normalization of Israel in the Middle East and broader Muslim world.”

Dr. Hulata will serve as the first senior fellow in FDD’s International Fellows Program that will bring renowned international policymakers from around the world to FDD to contribute to FDD’s research on foreign policy and national security.
