Terrorists in Lebanon fired 10 rockets toward the northern Israeli border area of Rosh HaNikra, Israeli media reported on March 7. “Nine rockets were intercepted and the tenth rocket apparently fell in an open area. The IDF responded to the launches with artillery fire,” Ynet reported. The reports did not say which terrorist group was responsible, although Hezbollah has been behind most attacks from Lebanon. The latest assault follows several days of increasing rocket fire by Hezbollah. The terrorist group fired 30 rockets toward the northern Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona on the evening of March 5. Israeli forces downed an explosive-laden drone launched by Hezbollah that flew into Israeli airspace from Lebanon on March 6, the IDF said. No one was injured in the incident.
