Biography
Johanna “Jo” Yang is a policy analyst at the Foundation for Democracies’ (FDD’s) Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation, where she works on issues related to nation-state cyber threats, allied cybersecurity posture, critical infrastructure protection, and U.S. cyber and national security policy. During her undergraduate studies, she held internships with the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party and the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Johanna holds a B.S. in political science from Santa Clara University, with concentrations in international relations and applied ethics. Johanna is an M.A. candidate in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
