Rep. Tony Gonzales

Rep. Tony Gonzales is a U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer and previous Department of Defense Fellow for Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL). A career Cryptologist, Tony has deployed multiple times in support of combat operations to Iraq and Afghanistan, and in support of regional security operations throughout Asia. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) where he teaches Counter-terrorism, U.S. Government, and Political Science courses. Tony holds a Graduate Certificate in Legislative Studies from Georgetown University, Master’s Degree in International Relations from American Public University and is a Ph.D. candidate in International Development with an emphasis on Security Studies and International Politics at the University of Southern Mississippi.
