Biography

Lieutenant Commander Ted Hill is a U.S. Navy Officer serving as a defense fellow on Capitol Hill, where he covers national and homeland security issues.  Prior to his current position, he was a squadron department head, who was responsible for the integration of manned and unmanned aircraft onboard littoral combat ship.  Ted is an experimental test pilot who has deployed numerous times and has logged over 2,000 hours in 29 different aircraft.  He was commissioned from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.
