Teague Pastel is a U.S. Marine Corps Officer serving in the Deputy Commandant for Information office. He has served mostly in artillery units, including as a battalion commander, and in staff positions at the service headquarters and Joint Staff J-3. He has also deployed multiple times to the Western Pacific Ocean and the Middle East. Most recently he completed a year as the Marine Corps Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and has earned two master degrees, one from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College and the other from National Defense University’s Eisenhower School.
