Taylor Clausen

Taylor Clausen is Research Assistant at the American Enterprise Institute, where he works to support the research agendas of Phillip Lohaus, Andrew Bowen, and Colin Dueck. His areas of interest include exploring issues related to gray zone competition, the Gulf States, and American leadership in the world today. Previously, he was a Staff Associate on the House Foreign Affairs Committee under the Chairmanship of Representative Ed Royce. While there, Taylor worked on topics related to the intersection of private-public partnerships in development assistance, the Middle East and Gulf States, as well as cybersecurity and internet governance. Taylor holds degrees in Political Science and Economics from Pepperdine University and is a prospective candidate for a master’s degree in security studies.
