Siddharth Iyer

Siddharth Iyer is the Deputy Director for counterterrorism operations in the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy, where he develops and oversees the implementation of policies related to global special operations and counterterrorism activities. From 2011 to 2013, Siddharth was a Country Director for Pakistan, also in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, where he was responsible for formulating and implementing defense policies for Pakistan, including the management of a multi-billion dollar portfolio of military assistance programs. Previously, Siddharth was a senior analyst for South Asian political-military affairs at the Defense Intelligence Agency and a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Pete V. Domenici
