Samantha Slater is the Communications Director for Congressman Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) who also serves as the Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and is a leader in the House in supporting U.S. assistance for the State of Israel. Prior to this position, Samantha served as press secretary to Congressman Joe Donnelly (D-IN) and, before that, she worked for Politico. Samantha completed her MPA at Baruch College’s School of Public Affairs and her B.A. at Brandeis University, where she majored in American Studies and Journalism.
