Lieutenant Colonel Pete Norris is an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army currently serving as a Congressional Budget Liaison for the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller). He has served in tactical leadership positions from platoon leader to brigade operations officer, with multiple combat deployments to Iraq. His tactical experience has been focused in armored units, from tank and mechanized infantry battalions, an armored cavalry regiment, a combined arms battalion, and an armored brigade combat team. Additionally, he served in the Army’s Human Resources Command, executing selection boards for promotion, command, and school. He holds a Master’s degree in Military Studies from the Marine Corps University, and a Master’s degree in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University.
