Mitchell Moore

Mitchell Moore is a U.S. Marine Artillery Officer assigned to the Joint Improvised Threat Defense Organization, serving as the Counter ISIS Facilitation Officer. His portfolio includes Coordinating policy and inter-agency actions across the US government, coalition partners, and commercial industries. He provides advice and guidance to foreign governments and US agencies to aid internal security measures to mitigate the threat of improvised weapons, to include IEDs. In addition he coordinates with Commercial Industries to enact industry best practice to prevent the divergent of legal goods to extremist organization. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, US Air Force Command and Staff, and National Defense University.  His previous assignments include deploying with the Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team – CENTCOM, the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
