Misha Lehrer is a senior director in the international law firm Greenberg Traurig’s national security and defense practice, where he advises companies and investors at the intersection of national security, emerging technology, and the defense industrial base. With more than a decade of experience, he represents clients before the Department of Defense and the congressional defense committees, developing and executing strategies that shape federal policy, secure funding, and position organizations in the defense marketplace. His expertise spans defense acquisition and DOD policymaking, the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and the defense appropriations process, including aligning capabilities with congressional and executive branch priorities. Prior to private practice, he served for Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) on all matters related to manufacturing, from defense industrial base policy to workforce development. Misha holds an M.S. from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where he specialized in international relations and international security, and a bachelor’s degree from New York University.
