Biography
Michael Egan Tomai brings with him experience in the defense and intelligence communities from the tactical level to the design of strategic capabilities. He worked as an open source intelligence analyst and studied international conflict resolution in The Hague before receiving his commission in the Marine Corps in 2005. Michael served as a Human Intelligence Exploitation Team leader, Counterintelligence Platoon Commander, and Special Staff Officer at battalion and regimental infantry units in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2006 through 2009. After departing active duty service, he managed special operations capability research and development in the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Irregular Warfare Support Program as a contracted civilian.
