Max Castroparedes is conducting research for Ambassador Paula J. Dobriansky, who serves on the board of advisors for FDD’s Center on Economic and Financial Power, as part of the Future of Diplomacy Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Based in Washington, DC, Max previously served at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the Office of Policy, Strategy, and Plans. Prior to DHS, he worked in the Senate for Senator John Cornyn. Max is an active member of the Heritage Foundation’s National Security Working Group, Young Professionals Briefing Series at the Council on Foreign Relations, Alexander Hamilton Society, and the Jamestown Foundation’s Young Professionals Program. A native Texan, Max graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia.
