Biography

Matt Jenkins is a U.S. Air Force Officer serving as the Chief of the Space Vehicles Branch in the Vanguard Program Office within the SIGINT directorate at the National Reconnaissance Office. He oversees the integration and test of multiple space vehicles in support of space-based indications and warning for U.S. Space Force and the National Intelligence Community. In his eight years in the Intelligence Community, he has served in numerous postings at Aerospace Data Facility-East ranging from Chief of Vehicle Engineering for the NRO’s flagship constellation to Assistant Director of Operations. In 2016, he became the Legislative Liaison for mission operations and intel integration, representing the NRO Director to Congress and advising on operations, policy, and technical issues for National Security Space Systems. In this capacity he served as the NRO representative to the President’s Daily Brief and authored testimony, positions, and briefings for NRO operations, intelligence and combat support for a $6B portfolio.
