Matt Gorsuch

Matt Gorsuch is a U.S. Air Force Officer serving as a defense fellow on Capitol Hill. Prior to his current assignment, Matt was a Combat Aviation Advisor executing aviation foreign internal defense, irregular and unconventional warfare directed by the theater commanders while guiding deployment operations in support of the United States Special Operations Command theater security cooperation engagement plans worldwide. He has extensive expertise in assisting partner nation militaries, U.S. military officials and U.S. Embassy leadership on aviation foreign internal defense and advising foreign aviation forces on tactical, operational and strategic concepts. Matt is a senior-rated pilot with significant worldwide special operations experience in multiple aircraft and five deployments in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Beyond his military experience, Matt has mentored graduate level courses at Georgetown University and is a pilot for United Airlines. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Oklahoma State University.
