Maira Alvelo

Maira Alvelo is the associate director of office operations and internships at FDD, where she oversees the day-to-day operations in the office, manages FDD’s Internship Program, and assists members of the senior management, finance, and development teams.

Prior to joining FDD, Maira spent several years in property management working directly with investors overseeing the operations and facilities of multiple Class A properties. She earned an AAS in paralegal studies from Montgomery College in Takoma Park, MD, where she focused on criminal law and intellectual property.
