Jay Kramer

Jay Kramer is the director of public affairs at Citadel and Citadel Securities, where he advises on geopolitical and policy matters and advances civic engagement strategies for Citadel’s founder and CEO, Ken Griffin. Before joining Citadel, Jay served as executive director of the American Opportunity Alliance, providing strategic guidance and analysis to Alliance members. He has previously served as counsel to members of both the House and Senate Appropriations Committees, advising on national security, immigration, and defense issues. Jay has also worked on political campaigns at the local, state, and national levels. Jay earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law and his bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Kansas State University. While in law school, he served as editor-in-chief of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. In addition to his private-sector and political experience, Jay serves as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. While deployed in the Middle East, he serves as the director of intelligence for a Naval Special Warfare Task Force responsible for the Arabian Peninsula.
