Biography
Jamie Ash is a U.S. Marine Corps Officer serving as a Monitor, Officer Assignments, Manpower and Reserve Affairs where she manages the assignments and career progression for 1300 Marine Officers. She was also recently selected for the Commandant of the Marine Corps Strategist Program and will be attending Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies to complete her PhD in American Foreign Policy. Prior to her current assignment, she has served across the Marine Corps, to include a combat deployment to Afghanistan and aboard the USS Kearsarge with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operations. She also served as a Female Engagement Team Officer-in-Charge and conducted bilateral engagements with key U.S. partners. She earned her B.S. in History from the U.S. Naval Academy and her Master’s in European History from American University.
