Jamal Ware

Jamal Ware is a former Professional Staff Member on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI).  He served as designee and national security advisor to Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) and was the Committee budget monitor for the General Defense Intelligence, Foreign Counterintelligence and Military Intelligence programs.  Prior to joining SSCI, Jamal served on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where he was senior advisor to the Committee’s former Chairman and Ranking Member Pete Hoekstra (R-MI). Jamal also served as a staff lead for the Committee’s Intelligence Community Management Subcommittee and was the budget monitor for the Community Management Account program.  Jamal first worked on Capitol Hill in July of 2001 as an aide to Congressman Hoekstra, and he also previously worked for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Michigan State Legislature.  Jamal is currently a subject matter expert for the government consulting firm BRTRC providing support for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Jamal is a graduate of Michigan State University
