Biography
Gretchen De Blaey is a U.S. Air Force combat veteran serving in the Office of the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force as a speechwriter. Prior to her current assignment, she was a Department of the Air Force Strategic Policy Fellow with the Secretary and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Executive Action Group as well as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate. She has been a program manager for process improvement and software development for weather forecast technician interface tools. Gretchen is a weather officer and has experience with mission planning and integration with multiple U.S. military branches and coalition forces. She commissioned from U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences and holds a Master’s degree in Defense Management.
