Gaylord Johnson is assigned to USCENTCOM J1 Policy and Plans, providing policy recommendation for personnel policies throughout the CENTCOM AOR regarding travel and other DoD programs and benefits. He has completed multiple overseas operational assignments and worked closely with various allies in the security of the area. Gaylord received his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University with a major in political science and international studies in 2008. He was a former ROTC instructor at Cornell University. He served as both Operation officer and Executive officer for commands within USMEPCOM and successfully oversaw thousands of military applicants sworn into the armed forces.
