Fiona McFarland

Fiona F. McFarland is a surface warfare officer assigned to the Navy Office of Information in the Pentagon where works with public affairs as the assistant news desk director. Her previous tours include service aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Preble where she deployed to the Western Pacific. She also served as an engineering officer on the littoral combat ship USS Coronado, which she saw through trials, testing, and commissioning. Fiona graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2008 with a B.S. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and holds an M.B.A. from UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
