Biography
Erin Brown is an Army veteran with experience in both law and policy. After attending Wake Forest University School of Law, Erin served on active duty for six years as an Army Judge Advocate. Erin was a military prosecutor, command advisor, and national security law specialist during her time with the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart and U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) at Fort Bragg. During her time with USASOC, she deployed multiple times to the Middle East as the sole legal advisor for a joint task force. Back home, Erin handled an array of complex operational, administrative, and military justice issues. Erin left active duty in 2023 while completing a Master’s of National Security Policy at Duke University. She held various policy positions with a major defense contractor before beginning her current role in security assistance at the State Department’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs.
