Emily Trapani

Emily Trapani is the new markets lead at Valinor, a defense tech startup, where her work focuses on addressing capability gaps in the U.S. government’s defense posture. Emily previously served a combined seven years on Capitol Hill, working for both the U.S. House Homeland Security and the Appropriations Committees. She also worked as head of the Americas public policy and government affairs team at Equinix, a digital infrastructure company, and spent time working in government affairs at an international law firm and at a polling and market research startup. She earned her B.A. from the University of Rochester with concentrations in political science and communications and her MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business.
