Emil Maine

Emil Maine is a National Security Research Assistant at the Heritage Foundation where he conducts independent research on U.S. defense posture, maritime security, and foreign affairs. At the Heritage Foundation, Emil engages with a wide network of government and non-government officials in the foreign and defense policy community and coordinates a coalition of independent volunteers committed to national defense policies. He also serves as an Assistant Editor for the Tel Aviv based Journal of Military Operations and Infinity Journal. Emil is contributor for Let Freedom Ring and The Center for International Maritime Security. His writings can be found on The Foundry and NextWar. Previously, Emil worked as a Research Analyst for Mainstream IT. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from American University, with a concentration in Comparative Politics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Texas.
