Danielle Muñoz

Danielle Muñoz is from New Hampshire and resides in Washington, DC. She received her B.A. in politics from Bates College with minors in German and Spanish and her M.A. in security studies with a focus on technology and security from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. During her undergraduate studies, Danielle studied abroad in Spain and in Austria. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 2015-2016. In March 2024, she participated in the European Union Visitors Program hosted by the EU Parliament and Commission in Brussels. Most recently, Danielle participated in the German Bundeswehr’s Manfred Wörner Seminar in June 2024. Danielle works as a policy advisor within the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), U.S. Department of Commerce. She specifically works on ICTS supply chain security issues in the Office of Information and Communications Technology and Services to protect the U.S. commercial sector. Prior to entering the government, Danielle represented U.S. industry as a policy manager at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she worked on digital policy issues to include digital trade, data privacy, cyber security, and AI.
