Charles “Charlie” Carroll

Charles “Charlie” Carroll is a seasoned national security professional who has spent the majority of his career working on Capitol Hill for Sens. Mark Kirk and Michael B. Enzi’s personal offices, Chairman Ron Johnson’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Chairman Roy Blunt’s leadership committee, the Republican Policy Committee, and most recently for Chairman Michael McCaul’s House Foreign Affairs Committee, where he served as a senior professional staff member leading the committee’s efforts on nonproliferation, arms control, and nuclear energy. He is currently a senior government affairs manager at Epirus, Inc., a technology company that specializes in directed energy counter-drone, counter-swarm, and counter electronics solutions. This role is his second stint in industry, as he previously worked for Leonardo DRS. Charlie hails from Winnetka, Illinois, and has a B.A. from Dickinson College and an M.A. from Johns Hopkins.
