Biography

Celestine K. Lukshis is a U.S. Air Force officer serving as the Egypt Country Director in the Central Division, Regional Affairs Directorate, the Office of the Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force for International Affairs, Washington D.C. In this role, she manages the relationships, provides oversight and guidance for the U.S. Air and Space Force’s Egypt country security cooperation portfolios, and supports national security objectives through political-military affairs, security assistance programs, education, training, cooperative research, and development. Celeste is a Foreign Area Officer with a Master’s degree from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA, and an Associate’s Degree from the Defense Language Institute for Foreign Languages Center. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami, Florida, and a Master’s from the University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, TX.
