Allyson Portee has a background in International Politics and has worked for a few years in Washington, D.C., but now Allyson has found herself in a totally different arena- Fashion Journalism. Developing an eye for couture craftsmanship, she has learned how to put intricate and detailed collections into words. Covering four Paris Fashion Week shows a year, as well as fashion shows by Arab and European maisons, Allyson has developed relationships with some of the world’s most leading brands. Graduating from The George Washington University, Allyson volunteered on numerous campaign trips in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts- and volunteered on the Romney Presidential campaign. She also interned at the White House and on Capitol Hill for Representative Joe Wilson and Senator Lindsey Graham. When she’s not writing about fashion, she’s writing about faith-based topics.
