Three Faces of Jew-Hatred 

Jeffrey Herf has a new and timely volume on the current moment: “Three Faces of Antisemitism: Right, Left and Islamist.” He joins host Cliff May to discuss the multiple manifestations of Jew-hatred – a growth industry since the terrible pogrom of October 7, 2023.

They discuss the historical context of antisemitism, including the convergence of Islamic and Nazi antisemitism, and pre-WWII genocidal claims made by Nazis against Jews which the Nazis would ultimately use to justify the Holocaust — and how these echoes of the past reverberate today as the International Court of Justice (ICJ) judges whether Israel — not Iran’s rulers, not Hezbollah, not Hamas… Israel — is genocidal, even as the Hamas Charter states clearly that its intention is to annihilate Israel and exterminate Israelis — and even after the group acted on this objective when it carried out the atrocities of October 7, 2023.
