Jay Question
We are so lucky to have Jay here, I can't resist. Jay, doesn't this seem so tiny? When I was a kid, getting intoxicated by politics, I remember rounds of votes, drama, Humphrey and Gene McCarthy and the Chicago 7, Reagan -v- Ford, etc. There's none of that now. We don't even get the comfort of a proven commodity for whom a scripted celebration might be justified. I'm not there, but I look at the TV and see a huge football field, and I can't help but think it's tiny pretending to be galactic.
