Ben Wittes and I Discuss the Boumediene Fallout at TNR

I think Benjamin Wittes (a former Washington Post editorial writer who is now at Brookings and writes a regular legal column for The New Republic) is one of the nation’s most thoughtful legal analysts, as anyone can tell from my review of his new book, Law and the Long War, which appears in the current print edition of NR (subscription required).

A few days ago, Josh Patashnik of TNR moderated a discussion between Ben and me about the Supreme Court’s Boumediene decision and the fallout from it.  I think it was a good conversation.  TNR has posted a transcript, here.  My thanks to Josh and Ben.
