Sergio Rodriguera

Sergio Rodriguera, Jr. is an advisor at District Venture. Before moving to his current position he was a Managing Partner at Tempest Advisory LLC, a business solutions firm advising venture capital and startups to better develop business opportunities in the information technology space. A former Professional Staff Member on the Committee on Financial Services in the U.S. House of Representatives, Sergio advised on technology and trade issues. He was previously an Aide in the Office of the House Majority Leader. Prior to Capitol Hill, he was a former policy advisor to the Under Secretary at the Department of Treasury, and a Naval Officer who was recalled to active duty in 2009 to serve as a Reserve Intelligence Officer in Kabul, Afghanistan, earning the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. He is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserves.
