Biography
V.S. Subrahmanian is The Dartmouth College Distinguished Professor in Cybersecurity, Technology, and Society and Director of the Institute for Security Technology, and Society (ISTS) at Dartmouth. Prior to this, he was a professor of Computer Science at the University of Maryland where he created and directed the Lab for Computational Cultural Dynamics and headed the UM Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS). An expert in cybersecurity and big data predictive analytics, he authored the Global Cyber-Vulnerability Report and has developed several other data-driven predictive models and software for improved security.
