Ryan Crumpler

Biography

Ryan Crumpler is a Professional Staff Member on the House Armed Services Committee, where his portfolio includes Army and Marine Corps operations, joint policy and guidance, military readiness, nuclear surety, defense-wide and military intelligence operations, and defense logistics. Ryan also worked as a senior defense advisor for Reps. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-CA) and William “Mac” Thornberry (R-TX) before joining the Committee in 2009.  Ryan has also held positions with Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and fellowships with the Foreign Policy Initiative and the Partnership for a Secure America. Ryan graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Security Studies from National Defense University and a Certificate in Counterintelligence from National Intelligence University.
